Guava Chana Chaat
Protein Rich, Vegetarian, Diabetic Friendly
Ingredients:
- 1 tsp oil
- 1 tsp jeera
- 1 cup boiled chana
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp jeera powder
- 1/2 tsp kashmiri chilli powder
- 1/2 tsp black pepper powder
- 1 cup chopped spinach
- 1/2 tsp amchur powder
- 1 medium sized chopped carrot
- 1 medium sized chopped guava
- 1 medium sized chopped cucumber
- pink himalayan salt
- lemon and corriander leaves
- walnuts or peanuts (optional)
Method:
- In oil, add jeera, boiled chana, turmeric powder , jeera powder, kashmiri chilli powder and black pepper powder
- Then add the chopped spinach. Mix everything and allow the spinach to get cooked
- Give a mix again and add amchur powder. Spiced chana mix is ready.
- Transfer this to a bowl and allow it to cool down
- In a salad bowl, take chopped carrot, chopped guava, chopped cucumber and add 1/2 tsp black pepper and 1/4 tsp pink Himalayan salt in it
- Squeeze 1/2 a lemon and chopped Coriander leaves
- Add the cooked chana mix. Mix it well.
- You can add 1-2 chopped walnuts or some peanuts (optional).
