Guava Chana Chaat

Protein Rich, Vegetarian, Diabetic Friendly

Ingredients:

  • 1 tsp oil
  • 1 tsp jeera
  • 1 cup boiled chana
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp jeera powder
  • 1/2 tsp kashmiri chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper powder
  • 1 cup chopped spinach
  • 1/2 tsp amchur powder
  • 1 medium sized chopped carrot
  • 1 medium sized chopped guava
  • 1 medium sized chopped cucumber
  • pink himalayan salt
  • lemon and corriander leaves
  • walnuts or peanuts (optional)

Method:

  • In oil, add jeera, boiled chana, turmeric powder , jeera powder, kashmiri chilli powder and black pepper powder
  • Then add the chopped spinach. Mix everything and allow the spinach to get cooked
  • Give a mix again and add amchur powder. Spiced chana mix is ready.
  • Transfer this to a bowl and allow it to cool down
  • In a salad bowl, take chopped carrot, chopped guava, chopped cucumber and add 1/2 tsp black pepper and 1/4 tsp pink Himalayan salt in it
  • Squeeze 1/2 a lemon and chopped Coriander leaves
  • Add the cooked chana mix. Mix it well.
  • You can add 1-2 chopped walnuts or some peanuts (optional).
