Beetroot Tikki
Beetroot Tikki
Prep Time: 15 Mins, Protein-Iron Rich, Vegetarian
Ingredients:
- 1 Grated Beetroot
- 50-60gms grated paneer
- 1 onion
- salt and pepper to taste
- 2tbsp sooji or rice flour (for binding)
Method:
- Grate the beetroot and add grated paneer in it
- Add finely chopped onion and salt and pepper according to your taste
- Add sooji to the mixture. You can also use rice flour.
- Mix all the ingredients.
- Grease your hands with a little ghee and make tikkis out of the mixture.
- On a pan, brush some ghee and place the tikkis. When one side looks crisp and golden, turn over each beetroot tikki gently
- Serve the beetroot tikkis with mint-coriander chutney
