Beetroot Tikki

Prep Time: 15 Mins, Protein-Iron Rich, Vegetarian

Ingredients:

  • 1 Grated Beetroot
  • 50-60gms grated paneer
  • 1 onion
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2tbsp sooji or rice flour (for binding)

Method:

  • Grate the beetroot and add grated paneer in it
  • Add finely chopped onion and salt and pepper according to your taste
  • Add sooji to the mixture. You can also use rice flour.
  • Mix all the ingredients.
  • Grease your hands with a little ghee and make tikkis out of the mixture.
  • On a pan, brush some ghee and place the tikkis. When one side looks crisp and golden, turn over each beetroot tikki gently
  • Serve the beetroot tikkis with mint-coriander chutney
